DKSH New Zealand’s Business Unit Performance Materials provides Market Expansion Services for specialty chemicals and ingredients used in the food and beverage, personal care and household, pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals industries. Back by the DKSH global organisation, Performance Materials is dedicated to providing tailor-made solutions for the sourcing and application needs of its business partners.
DKSH New Zealand offers customers a range of high quality consumables, labware and specialised instrumentation products and value-added services. We support scientists engaged in biological research, diagnostic, healthcare, environmental, food, dairy and beverage, pharmaceutical, mining, petrochemical industries and tertiary education.

DKSH financial figures released
The financial figures for the business year 2012 were released on March 12, together with our first Annual Report as a publicly listed company. The results were excellent, with our performance exceeding our results from 2011.
In 2012, DKSH achieved an operating profit of CHF 277.3 million, an increase of 16.7% compared to the prior year. Profit after tax grew by 21.3% to CHF 184.7 million (excluding extraordinary gain of CHF 24.7 million from the divestment of OLIC). Net sales increased by 20.4% (CHF +1.5 billion) to CHF 8.8 billion, by far exceeding the 8.3% growth rate of DKSH's addressable Market Expansion Services industry.
This success again clearly demonstrates the resilience of our business model and reaffirms our strategy for sustainable, profitable growth – expanding existing partnerships, multiplying success stories from country to country and strategic bolt-on acquisitions.
